Job summary

Matrix Camps, Logistics & Aviation is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean accommodations, washrooms and common areas at a remote mining camp near Winnemucca, NV. The role follows cleaning checklists, sanitizes high-touch surfaces and restocks supplies. Work rotates 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off in a full-time seasonal capacity.

Previous housekeeping or sanitation experience is preferred. MSHA certification and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, restocking supplies.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved products and methods.
• Maintain assigned rooms/areas and complete cleaning checklists as required.
• Support laundry/linen handling duties (sorting, washing, folding, restocking).
• Remove waste and ensure proper disposal practices.

Location: Remote mining camp near Winnemucca, Nevada
Work Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (full-time, seasonal)
Camp Size: Approximately 150 residents

Matrix Camps, Logistics & Aviation is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean accommodations, washrooms, and common areas at a remote mining camp. The Housekeeper will follow cleaning checklists, sanitize high-touch surfaces, restock supplies, handle laundry and linens as assigned, and dispose of waste properly.

The successful candidate will work efficiently, pay close attention to detail, and follow camp safety and housekeeping procedures. Previous housekeeping or sanitation experience is preferred. MSHA certification and legal authorization to work in the United States are required. Preference will be given to candidates in or near Winnemucca.

Basics

• Clean and sanitize camp facilities to established standards (crew/guest accommodations, washrooms, common areas)
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and restocking supplies
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved products and methods
• Maintain assigned rooms/areas and complete cleaning checklists as required

Mine Site Safety & Compliance (MSHA / Nevada)

• MSHA certification is required
• Must comply with all applicable mine safety and health requirements, including MSHA regulations (30 CFR) and site-specific safety orientation/training
• PPE and site rules are required (site-provided during onboarding)
• Reference and criminal record checks will be completed
• Some sites may require pre-access drug screening and/or fitness-for-duty clearance

Preference

• Preference will be given to local candidates (or those with proximity) in the Winnemucca, NV region.

Employment Eligibility

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

• Matrix will comply with all applicable U.S. employment verification requirements (I-9)
