Housekeeper

Full Time & Part Time | Day Shift

** Pay rates between $17.50-20/hour! **
(based on experience)

The Housekeeper supports our mission and values by ensuring the cleanliness of resident rooms, staff offices and common areas. Our Housekeepers will also assist with laundry distribution as needed.

What will I do as a Housekeeper?

• Prepare cleaning cart and replenish daily end of the shift Vacuum floors and hallways.
• Provide basic housekeeping duties such as: restocking toilet paper & supplies, vacuuming, dusting, staff offices and common areas per assignment.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines related to infection control and standard precautions.
• Clean, disinfect and store cart at the end of the shift.
• Pick up trash and deposit in dumpster.
• Deliver personals to resident rooms.
• Fill form out for linen needs.
• Restock clean linen carts on assigned wing.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are in proper working order. Report all concerns.
• Vacuum hallways once your area is clean.
• Provide clothing protectors for the Dietary Department.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What is required in this position?

• Able to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds frequently.
• Able to push or pull carts weighing up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Ability to read product labels and follow directions accordingly.
• Cleaning experience in a hotel or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to optimize customer service to all residents.
