Job summary

Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and attractive environment for residents, under supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor. Duties include cleaning resident rooms, offices, and common areas with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) with ability to follow cleaning schedules and adapt to shift changes as needed to support the facility.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: A High School diploma or equivalent preferred or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, offices, and common areas; vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing.
• Follows weekly departmental cleaning schedule.
• Complies with chemical safety guidelines.
• Adapts to shift changes to meet Facility needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Housekeeper.

General Description

Under the direction of the Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning resident rooms and other interior and exterior Facility areas and assisting in maintaining a clean and attractive environment for the residents.

General Job Duties

• Cleans and straightens (including vacuuming, wiping, moping, polishing, etc.)rooms, offices, and common areas; polishes and removes items; checks that resident rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner.


• Complies with weekly departmental cleaning schedule.


• Adheres to all cleaning chemical hazards as indicated on supplies.


• Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in shift assignments to meet Facility needs.

• Other Duties- include performing tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. Performs other work duties as assigned
