Sunrise Senior Living in Dix Hills, NY is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. You will clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas, and ensure privacy when entering rooms.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Willingness to follow infection control standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy.
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry.
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures.
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards.
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant.
