Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living

• Good physical stamina to lift/move cleaning equipment
• Strong communication skills with residents and staff
• Compassionate, caring, friendly demeanor focused on service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to high cleanliness standards
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain tidiness
• Change linens, make beds, and keep rooms neat and welcoming
• Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces for a presentable environment
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment safely
• Handle laundry and assist with other cleaning tasks
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
• Assist with special cleaning tasks during events or as directed
• Maintain a pleasant atmosphere for residents and staff
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards in duties
• Help organize storage rooms and supplies

Position Summary

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces, contributing to an environment that promotes health and well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a tidy environment
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure that resident rooms are neat and welcoming
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain a clean, presentable environment
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and used safely
• Handle laundry and assist with other cleaning tasks as needed
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
• Assist with special cleaning tasks during events or as directed by supervisors
• Maintain a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for residents and staff by demonstrating care in all interactions
