Legends Global is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, OH. Under general supervision, you will perform routine housekeeping tasks including cleaning, trash removal, and restroom upkeep, while ensuring guest satisfaction and attention to detail.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and significant cleaning experience. You must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment at the on-site

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping and janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing and waxing.
• Empty trash and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Assist with event setup, teardown, and cleanup.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner and provide good customer service.

Sound like a winning formula for you? **Join us!****THE ROLE**Under general supervision, performs routine housekeeping work while cleaning and caring for the facility building.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned. These include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing and waxing.* Empty trash and wastebaskets. Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas.* Make minor repairs such as painting, patching and replacing light fixtures and filters, when applicable.* Assist with event set-up, tear-down and clean-up.* Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.* Must have the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and polite manner. This will include initiating contact with guests within 10 feet – i.e., smiling, saying “Good Day” or helping when needed.* Must feel comfortable when around large groups or speaking to a guest, as needed* Understands the importance of providing customer service and in understanding of “The Magic is in the Details”**QUALIFICATIONS:*** To be competitive applicants should have high school diploma or equivalent and significant related experience.* Prior experience in cleaning and janitorial duties.* Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays.**Skills, Abilities and Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
