Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to support a nursing facility in Kentucky. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms, change linens, and help maintain a warm, home-like environment while ensuring comfort for each community member.

Ideal candidates are healthy, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 75 pounds. Training and adherence to safety regulations are required to support a sanitary living space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interest in meeting sanitary needs of residents.
• Must be able to respond to residents’ needs with care and professionalism.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Dust, mop, and vacuum community member rooms and bathrooms.
• Prepare and change linens.
• Clean lounge areas, library, hallways, and office areas.
• Sort and fold laundry.
• Ensure residents are comfortable in their rooms.
• Maintain a pleasant, home-like environment.
• Attend mandatory facility training.
• Complete required training according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for keeping the community member rooms and bathrooms clean and sanitary. Housekeeping is also responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of common areas, public bathrooms, and lounge areas.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Interest in meeting the sanitary needs of the community members and Harrison Nursing facilities
• Physical and emotional capacity, education and experience to respond to the needs of the community members
• Physical demands such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing stairs, hearing, seeing kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds
• Ability to effectively communicate with confidence, clarity, precision and professionalism
• Must be at least 18 years of age
