Job summary

HHS is seeking compassionate Hospital Housekeepers to join our Merakey USA – Pittsburgh Buildings team. This role focuses on providing a clean, safe hospital environment to support patient recovery, with day/evening/night shifts and at least every other weekend and holiday required.

Wage: $15 per hour, full-time and part-time positions available. Background checks and drug screening are required; location is Merakey USA - Pittsburgh Buildings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication in English; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

Hospital Housekeeper

• Wage: $ 15 /hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available - must work at least every other weekend and every other holiday
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
