Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Services staff member for the Heritage House, with a Day Shift, in a Part Time capacity.

The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment in alignment with the hospital's mission and patient care standards. The position requires at least 1 year of healthcare environmental services experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic cleaning technique knowledge, supporting a team dedicated to high-quality sanitation

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing)

• Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties
• Assist Supervisor with scheduling, staff oversight, inventory, and special projects
• Ensure overall cleanliness of assigned buildings
• Complete thorough daily room cleaning following all training and sanitation protocols
• Follow infection control policies and procedures
• Maintain professional communication with staff, patients, residents, and families
• Respond politely and efficiently to requests
• Report issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Perform additional duties assigned by Supervisor or Director
• Uphold SPHP Standards of Behavior

Pay Range

$16.20 - $19.74

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
