Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Chicago is looking for a devoted cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of resident apartments and common areas across two communities.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with pay at $16.60 per hour. We train newcomers and require clear English communication; a positive demeanor is essential for resident and coworker interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of resident apartments, hallways and other common areas.
• Assist in preparing empty apartments for resident move-ins.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Respond to resident emergencies when needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and coworkers.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident apartments and the common areas of the community.

Job Description

• $16.60 Hr Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Work obligations in two communities: 2800 W Montrose Ave and 5400 N Northwest Hwy
• General cleaning of resident apartments, hallways and other common areas.
• Assist in preparing empty apartments for resident move-ins.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• You may be asked to help respond to resident emergencies.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
