Job summary

Settlers Ridge Care Center in Celina, TX is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe resident areas. Schedule is Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, with duties including cleaning rooms, floors, windows, and linens.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dust and clean resident rooms and living areas.
• Dust-mop, wet-mop floors with cleaning chemicals.
• Strip, seal, wax and buff floors as needed.
• Vacuum, extract or shampoo carpets as needed.
• Wash and dry windows with cleaning products.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and dispose of waste.
• Strip and dispose of spoiled linens for washing.
• Replace linens and make beds as scheduled.
• Report repairs or maintenance needs to supervisor.

Housekeeper

Mon-Fri 10am to 6pm

Our team focuses on providing superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services to meet the wants, needs, and expectations of our patients and residents.

Job Responsibilities

• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms, living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and basins as scheduled.
• Dust-mop, wet-mop, or spot-mop floors using appropriate concentrated cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Strip, seal, wax and/or buff floors as necessary.
• Vacuum, extract, and/or shampoo carpets as necessary.
• Wash and dry windows using appropriate concentrated cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners, and dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
• Strip and dispose of spoiled linens in appropriate receptacles for washing.
• Replace linens and make residents’ beds as scheduled.
• Report repair needs to supervisor and/or maintenance department as appropriate.

Safety Precautions

• Knowledge and understanding of how to properly use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets.
• Use proper safety equipment and tools to identify safety hazards and abide by the community’s safety policies and procedures.
