Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility, serving residents and staff with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, following safety procedures, and coordinating with supervisors; high school diploma preferred, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
