Job summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities include cleaning all resident apartments, cleaning all public areas and work spaces, completing community and resident laundry, maintaining a safe environment, and encouraging teamwork through cooperative interactions

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests are required, including TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be needed per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
