Job summary

Monroe Group is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary and orderly environments for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning, scheduling with supervision, inventory management, and event support. A bonus structure includes signing and retention incentives. This role is based on site in Bonner Springs, KS and requires reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position must provide; a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors. The housekeeper must follow the instructions as given for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving of objects/materials.

This position will offer a $500.00 dollar signing bonus paid after three months and a $1,500.00 retention bonus paid after six months.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, to include but not limited to, floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, grounds, stairwells, windows and appliances as instructed.
• Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory
• Maintains cleaning equipment in working order
• Post notices as needed.
• Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning.
• Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations.
• Assist in community meetings, holiday functions and special resident requests as needed.
