Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Batavia, IL is seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment for residents. You will clean apartments, restrooms, and common areas following a set schedule, dust, vacuum, mop, disinfect surfaces, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

You will report supply needs and repairs, assist with apartment flips, respond to resident requests promptly, and maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community areas following schedule.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors.
• Empty trash containers on a regular schedule and as needed.
• Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures.
• Ensure a safe living environment for residents, respecting privacy and belongings.
• Report concerns about resident behavior to supervisor.
• Report needed supplies and equipment repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with apartment-flips or specialized cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Respond to requests from residents and staff promptly and efficiently.
• Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before end of shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to residents and operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The position is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks to maintain a pristine and welcoming community environment for our residents.

• Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community common areas following established schedule.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors.
• Empty trash containers on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed.
• Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures.
• Ensure a safe living environment for residents, while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.
• Report concerns or observation about resident unusual behavior to supervisor.
• Report needed supplies and/or equipment repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with apartment-flips or specialized cleaning tasks, as assigned.
• Respond to requests from residents and staff promptly and efficiently.
• Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be age 18 or older
