Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, following infection control, reporting issues, and collaborating with nursing, laundry, dietary, and other departments; applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, healthcare, or similar experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces
• Clean bathrooms and ensure they are properly stocked
• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures
• Safely use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies
• Collect and dispose of trash and other waste appropriately
• Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping storage area
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged equipment to management
• Help maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention guidelines
• Work cooperatively with nursing, laundry, dietary, and other departments
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect

Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour based on experience
