Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Copper Springs East Behavioral Health in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary environment and support patient care. This full-time role reports to the Director of Environmental Services and requires attention to safety and infection-control procedures.

You will clean patient rooms, restock supplies, manage carts and equipment, and assist in the kitchen during staffing shortages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior clinical housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Reports to the Director of Environmental Services.
• Stock paper products and other supplies in patient rooms as needed or assigned.
• Maintains carts and equipment in clean, safe working condition and stores them after shifts.
• Performs other non-essential duties as assigned and follows policies.
• Occasionally helps in the kitchen when short staffed.

How you'll contribute

• Creates a clean, sanitary, and safe environment while enhancing the appearance of the facility.
• Reports to the Director of Environmental Services.
• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows established policies and procedures for patient isolation.
• Stocks paper products and other supplies in patient rooms as needed or assigned.
• Maintains carts and equipment in clean, safe working condition and stores them in the appropriate storage area at the end of each shift.
• Performs other non-essential duties as assigned.
• Reviews and complies with the LifePoint Code of Conduct and all applicable Company and Division policies and procedures.
• Occasionally helps in the kitchen when short staffed.

What we're looking for

Education: High School Diploma Preferred

Work Experience: Previous clinical housekeeping experience Preferred
