Job summary

Weber’s Restaurant and Hotel in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary and welcoming environment for guests in our hotel rooms. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and assisting with laundry while upholding our health and safety standards.

You will sweep, mop, dust, polish, and change linens, ensuring every room meets our quality standards. The position requires flexibility, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job description

A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment in hotel guest rooms. They perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. They ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy all areas of establishment, primarily guest rooms
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
• Make beds and change linens as required
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Help with laundry and general cleaning
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
