Job summary

Trine University in Angola, IN is seeking full-time 3rd shift housekeepers to clean and maintain university buildings and assist with summer camps on campus.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, window washing, restrooms, classroom furniture, waste removal, light fixtures, event setup, and stocking supplies. A high school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must be able to operate commercial cleaning equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform duties associated with commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to operate industrial cleaning equipment and move heavy items.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip and wax floors.
• Wash windows and sills.
• Select, measure and mix products for cleaning jobs.
• Clean, sanitize and polish restrooms and fixtures.
• Clean and polish classroom and office furniture.
• Remove waste and debris.
• Replace light bulbs and clean fixtures.
• Set up tables and chairs for special events.
• Stock closets with cleaning and paper products.
• Sweep and shovel walkways 10' from all entrances.

SummaryTrine University is seeking full-time 3rd shift housekeepers who will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining University buildings and assisting with the setting up of summer camps held on the Trine University campus. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to:
