Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping, follow safety guidelines, and interact positively with residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD 16.50 per hour. Eligible employees receive benefits and ongoing training. Join a supportive team focused on excellent customer and resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance required.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks for resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning procedures meet safety guidelines and infection control policies.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
