Healthcare Services Group in Alabama is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning, follow safety procedures, and interact positively with residents and staff, contributing to a high standard of care.

Prior housekeeping is preferred but not required; you must also meet lifting and mobility requirements and comply with vaccination policies as applicable. Join us for hands-on training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests with excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.

Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.

Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.

Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.

Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies

Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.

Must be able to work around cleaning products.

Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
