Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe environments for residents at our community. You will clean resident suites, bathrooms, and common areas, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces while respecting privacy and infection control standards.

You will also handle laundry, equipment, and disposal procedures, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and safety for residents. The role includes a strong support network and opportunities for growth within Sunrise Senior

Qualifications

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy.
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry.
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures.
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards.
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for cleaning resident suites and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members.
• You will follow infection control standards and store chemicals safely while maintaining organization of carts and equipment.
• You will assist with laundry and linen handling to support daily operations and resident comfort.
