Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor RN to provide daily leadership for all supervisor functions and coordinate hospital operations on the Seaside campus.

You will mentor nursing staff, support staffing decisions with Nurse Managers, and lead disaster preparedness efforts while maintaining strong crisis communication with department managers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as an Oregon RN at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required at hire.
• NRP certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or senior leadership experience.

The House Supervisor RN acts as a mentor and role model for the nursing staff on his/her shift by supporting and assisting the staff in development of problem-solving assertiveness and leadership skills. The position also works in collaboration with the Nurse Managers in assisting with staffing and in crisis situations, as appropriate, supports the Nurse Managers in coordination and evaluation of the nursing staff. The Lead Nursing House Supervisor initiates the disaster preparedness plan if needed. Having the ability to communicate effectively function in crisis and urgent situations and to follow-up with department managers and staff are key skills required for this position. Required Qualifications
