Job summary

St. Luke’s Health is seeking a House Supervisor to act as the central orchestrator of care, guiding frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence.

You will engage with patient care needs daily, support nursing growth, and advocate for nurses while communicating effectively with physicians, consultants, and families to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of clinical experience.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams across nursing staff.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification and readiness to renew as required.

Responsibilities

• Manages overtime and unit staffing for all nursing staff based on budget, patient acuity and census on a daily basis.
• Communicates staffing decisions to Nurse Managers of concerned area.
• Ensures agency nursing staff is in appropriate units at the scheduled time.
• Responds and intervenes in all emergency situations.
• Coordinates all staff nurse sick calls and communicates information to the manager of concern.
• Responsible for the notification of on call staff.

• Bachelors Of Nursing for Magnet or Pathway designated hospitals, upon hire and
• Bachelors Other for Non‐Magnet or Pathway designated hospitals, upon hire and
• Five (5) years of clinical experience and
• Experience working with people of different skill, experienceand educational background
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
