ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson in Jackson, MS is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our growing team. You will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our customers.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping or janitorial experience, can follow detailed instructions, and works well independently or as part of a team. You should be reliable, punctual, and able to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock supplies such as paper products and hand soap in designated areas
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols at all times
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to a supervisor
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies
