Workstream is seeking a Cleaning Technician who can help make fire and water damage ‘Like it never even happened!’. In this role, you will perform various cleaning services while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment.
• Travel to work sites for cleaning functions.
• Clean furniture, items, flooring, walls, and ceilings as needed.
• Set up staging area and equipment for projects.
• Ensure a clean and orderly job site appearance.

Job Description:

Perform cleaning services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Communicate with the crew lead to make sure all customer needs are met. Clean and maintain vehicles and office areas, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Travel to work site to perform cleaning functions
• Clean furniture, items, flooring, walls, and ceilings, etc.
• Set up staging area and equipment for each project
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® guidelines
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew lead and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling

Qualifications:

• Effective oral communication
• Experience in cleaning/restoration/housekeeping preferred
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Ability to travel locally
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Salary and Bonus:

• Starting at $18/hour
• $500 Sign-On Bonus after 180 days of Full Time employment
