Job summary

At Home Veterinary seeks an experienced veterinary assistant or technician for a fast-paced home-visit practice in the Natick area. You will ride along with the veterinarian, restrain dogs and cats, and assist with exams, vaccines, and sample collection.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of veterinary support experience, strong computer skills, and accurate, quick data entry. A client-focused, organized, and detail-oriented approach is essential for daily client interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician.
• Strong computer skills and fast typing for medical records.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the veterinarian at appointments and restrain animals as needed.
• Prepare vaccines, collect samples, and assist with procedures.
• Review records, enter notes and charges in the computer, and communicate with clients.
• Support a fast-paced home-visit practice with professional, concierge-level service.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.
