Job summary

The Westshore Grand is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeping associate to maintain clean and safe spaces for guests and staff. Responsibilities include stocking amenities, emptying carts, and detailing corridors and guest areas with attention to quality and efficiency.

Must be reliable, physically able to lift and move items up to 100 lbs, and work well in a team. Hotel experience is preferred, and friendly, effective communication is essential for guest interactions.

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication; adapt to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building to ensure a safe, clean guest experience.
• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash; clean mirrors and doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, foyers and common areas.
• Assist with moving furniture as directed by supervisor.
• Attend to attendance rules and be reliable for shifts.

Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
