The Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented House Attendant (Housekeeping) to join our Operations team. The primary focus of this position is maintaining the cleanliness, organization, stocking, and overall presentation of the venue before, during, and after events.

As part of the broader House Attendant team, this position will also assist with venue setup, breakdown, event operations, and other general House Attendant responsibilities as needed. Working collaboratively with event production staff, vendors, and fellow team members, you will help ensure that our spaces remain guest-ready and that every event runs seamlessly.

Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked employee areas, offices, kitchens, storage areas, and locker rooms.
  • Reset and refresh rooms throughout the duration of an event as outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
  • Attend to clients when personal attention or housekeeping assistance is required.
  • Refill par stock of supplies in guest restrooms on each floor and maintain communication with restroom attendants during events to ensure restrooms remain fully equipped.
  • Communicate venue cleanliness concerns, repairs, and maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
General Responsibilities
Event Execution
  • Assist with event setup according to the event floor plan, including tables, chairs, steaming of linens, preset literature, and other items as assigned by the client; collaborate with vendor staff as required.
  • Place mobile partitions according to standard operating procedures and floor plan specifications under management supervision.
  • Set up preset bars in designated locations according to the floor plan.
  • Set up banquet furniture according to client floor plans throughout venue spaces.
  • Retrieve and steam/wash all linens needed for each event.
  • Break down function areas as scheduled and in accordance with departmental procedures; ensure that all Glasshouse equipment is accounted for and properly stored.
  • Compile all dirty linens in laundry bins at the conclusion of events and arrange for pickup.
Venue Maintenance
  • Perform deep cleaning of venue areas, including the main event spaces, VIP Lounge, Green Rooms, terraces, and other ancillary spaces.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas daily.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper storage of all mobile partition walls.
  • Ensure that all bathrooms are cleaned daily and properly stocked according to defined levels.
  • Ensure that all windows, guest elevators, and offices are cleaned according to established venue standards and schedules.
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness according to venue requirements and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Utilize assigned cleaning chemicals for designated items and surfaces according to safety and health regulations.
Guest Experience & Operations
  • Maintain a professional and courteous presence on the floor at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and team members to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Respond immediately to spills, incidents, and guest requests to preserve safety, cleanliness, and service quality.
  • Monitor event flow and assist colleagues as needed; remain available to support the team and prevent service delays.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all venue and event policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
  • Perform all duties with excellence while adhering to established control procedures and security policies.
Qualifications

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and the physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds with the assistance of another colleague.
  • Ability to carry and operate issued walkie-talkies during shifts (sleeves and holsters provided).
Preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role within venue, hospitality, housekeeping, or event operations.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual production and event technical logistics.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Compensation & Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible hours based on the event calendar. Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Compensation is $22 per hour.
