Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment. This role also involves delivering items to guestrooms, such as express checkout materials and newspapers.

· Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas as per standards.
• Shampoo furniture when needed.
• Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Handle Lost and Found items following hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as required.
• Know and assist with emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Store hotel equipment appropriately.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous attitude towards employees and guests.
