Job summary

Grand Pacific Resorts seeks an attentive Hotel Housekeeper to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well maintained. You will restock linens, assist with laundry duties, and help keep hallways, elevators, and service closets in pristine condition.

Ideal candidates have basic hospitality experience, strong communication, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently. Regular attendance and adherence to Westin/Solea Carlsbad standards are required.

POSITION PURPOSEEnsure all areas of Hotel guest rooms are clean and maintained according to the standards set down by the hotel, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform general cleaning duties in Hotel as follows:Responsible for supplying and furnishing maids closet linens and amenities for guest roomsMaintain cleanliness of maids closetResponsible for pick up of dirty linen from maids cartResponsible for furnishing clean linen throughout dayMaintain cleanliness of all trash chute roomsMaintain cleanliness of glass doors and windowsMaintain cleanliness of Vending /Ice roomMaintain cleanliness of hallways of Hotel and stairwells (Vacuum/carpet exaction)Maintain cleanliness of all hallway lamps, i.e., sconces and ceiling lampMaintain cleanliness of elevatorsMaintain cleanliness of hallway telephone and furnish with supplySupport Room Attendant by cleaning and stripping guest roomsPerform Guest Request throughout dayEnsure work area is clean when finishedResponsible for being knowledgeable about the hotelMaintain at all times a neat and clean professional appearanceOther:Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
