Job summary

Residence Inn Big Sky/ The Wilson Hotel in Big Sky, MT is seeking a dedicated House Person to clean and maintain public hotel areas in line with brand standards and sustainability goals. You will greet guests, perform cleaning tasks, report maintenance issues, and support the EarthView program while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

The role may require working during busy periods and holidays to maintain a pristine environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks accordingly.
• Collect trash from service landings and dispose of in outside dumpsters.
• Vacuum and dust guest corridors.
• Transport linen from floors to laundry collection site.
• Deliver clean linen to assigned sections.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas.
• Respond to guest inquiries and assistance.
• Assist as a room attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing guest satisfaction.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective equipment according to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, bending and kneeling to reach all areas.
• Usage of cleaning chemicals.
