Job summary

Schulte Hopsitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Lunch/Dinner Cook to join our team. You will prepare lunch and dinner menu items, maintain high sanitation standards, and work closely with the manager on specials.

Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12pm–10pm. We offer a benefits package including daily pay options, health insurance, 401(k) matching, PTO, and opportunities for career growth in a fast-growing hospitality company.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role required.
• Ability to work Wednesday - Saturday 12pm-10pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
• Ensure organized and clean storage areas for all food.
• Ensure food items are properly handled and stored; rotate inventory.
• Prepare food according to specifications for lunch and dinner.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
• Work with manager to create specials and other menu variations.
• Work with manager to curate lunch menu.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility

• Prepares food according to specifications for lunch, and dinner.
• Maintains clean and orderly storage areas and product pars

• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work Wednesday - Saturday each week 12pm - 10pm
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player
