Job summary

Hilton in Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant Director of Security to lead safety operations and ensure a secure environment for guests and team members. You will oversee OSHA compliance, manage security programs, and coordinate emergency responses within a hospitality setting.

The role also involves directing security patrols, investigations, and staff development, while acting as a liaison with law enforcement to uphold Hilton's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and security operations: assist the Director in directing safety and security functions and maintaining OSHA compliance.
• Lead safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training.
• Direct security patrols of hotel premises to identify and address safety risks and security threats.
• Support investigations into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.
• Coordinate emergency responses to incidents such as fires, medical events, and security threats.
• Serve as a liaison with federal, state, and local authorities on security matters.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor security staff, conduct evaluations, and foster a high-performing team.
