Job summary

Embassy Suites Georgetown in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to patrol the property and safeguard guests and staff. You will perform routine security tasks, respond to emergencies, and maintain logs and incident reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year related security experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Know the complete hotel facilities and emergency procedures.
• Spend majority of shift on foot patrol, observe and identify security risks.
• Patrol interior hallways and public areas for guest and property safety.
• Prepare routine logs of patrolled areas.
• Prepare security incident reports and notify managers when incidents occur.
• Escort guests to parking areas and assist with luggage as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and know hotel layout and hours of operation.
• Address complaints promptly to ensure quality guest experiences.
• Attend emergency training and monitor life safety systems.
