Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Training is provided to meet safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or room cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness levels.
• Good time management to complete tasks on schedule.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills when interacting with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors per standards.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstered furniture, and draperies with approved equipment.
• Empty trash and transport to disposal areas; keep carts organized.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and room amenities.
• Follow hotel-safe cleaning protocols and use approved chemicals.
• Sort/store clean linens in designated areas; maintain supply levels.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides.
• Report damages or found items to supervisors; protect guest property.
• Aim to clean a designated number of rooms per day per standards.
