Job summary

The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel is seeking a full-time House Person to maintain cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells and public areas. You will assist Room Attendants, stock linens, operate laundry equipment and ensure standards are met.

You should be reliable, able to multitask in a high-pressure hospitality environment, communicate well with staff and guests, and be prepared for varied schedules. Prior hotel cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform well in a high-pressure work environment.
• Prior hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be reliable, adaptable and dependable.
• Willingness to work varying schedules and shifts.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and stand/walk throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, public areas, elevators and linen closets.
• Assist Room Attendants by stocking linens and distributing towels/linens.
• Operate laundering machines and inspect laundered items for cleanliness.
• Count, assemble and transport laundered items to shelves and carts.
• Pick up linens promptly and ensure replenishment of stocks.
