Stonebridge Companies' Walnut Creek property is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep all lobby, hallways and elevators spotless. Starting hourly wage is $17.00, with duties including cleaning restrooms, delivering items, assisting housekeeping, maintaining public-area inventory, and supporting staff to meet guest expectations.

This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Standing/walking for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all public restroom and public areas of the hotel in keeping with high standards of quality.
• Responds to requests for items to be delivered and may perform turndown service.
• Cleans back-of-the-house areas and assists hotel staff by checking room status and vacuuming offices.
• Maintains inventory for public areas and informs Supervisor when inventory is low.
• Monitors public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Performs additional cleaning projects as directed by the Supervisor (carpet, tile and grout, etc.).
• Performs duties in accordance with brand standards and guest expectations.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
