Job summary

TownePlace Suites Orlando Downtown is seeking a full-time Houseman to support our housekeeping team and help ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests. The role involves assisting room attendants, stocking closets, maintaining public areas, and upholding safety protocols while delivering hospitality.

You will work closely with the team to keep the property in top condition and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants by removing soiled linens and transporting them to the laundry.
• Stock storage closets with clean linens and guest supplies.
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any deficiencies or shortages.
• Cross-train in laundry operations and assist in laundry as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas: lobby, hallways, pool, restrooms, breakfast area, and fitness center.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, windows, and restocking.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Follow safety protocols, key control, and incident reporting.
• Complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance per company standards.
• Additional duties as needed.
