Job summary

Town Pump Company is seeking a hotel/guest-services family member to perform daily cleaning of public areas, lobby, restrooms, hallways, and more, while modeling genuine hospitality.

You will assist room attendants, gather linens, and ensure equipment and inventory are secure, with cross-training across departments as needed to maintain brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hospitality or retail atmosphere preferred.
• Frequent standing, walking, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleaning of public areas per brand standards.
• Assist room attendants with cleaning and gather linens.
• Ensure exterior grounds are clean and hazards removed.
• Follow safety guidelines including Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Cross-train with front desk and housekeeping as needed.
• Complete tasks on the Porter Checklist.
• Protect guest and company information and uphold confidentiality.

Summary

Performs duties and tasks to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards to ensure daily cleaning, upkeep of public areas, including the lobby, public restrooms, hallways, stairwells, fitness center, etc. Model the Hotel Group Mission Statement: “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.”

• Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
• Always follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines and wear a uniform and nametag while on shift.
• Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash and debris, as well as removing weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
• Gather linens from guest rooms for housekeeping staff and assist room attendants with cleaning of rooms as needed.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are always secure.
• Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
• May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed, such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.
• Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Complete tasks and assignments on the daily Porter Checklist

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
