Summit Hospitality Group, Ltd. is seeking a Hotel Apprentice to join a structured, hands-on training program across Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Sales, and Engineering/Maintenance.

The role develops practical hotel operations knowledge while supporting daily guest services in Raleigh, NC. Ideal candidates are pursuing hospitality careers, with a high school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; enrollment in or completion of a hospitality, technical, or apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Interest in pursuing a career in hospitality or hotel operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured apprenticeship and cross-training program across multiple hotel departments.
• Learn hotel policies, procedures, brand standards, and safety requirements.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests, coworkers, and partners.
• Develop working knowledge of how departments collaborate to support guest experiences.
• Complete training, projects, and rotations successfully.
• Assist managers and team members with daily operational needs.
• Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest, employee, and hotel information.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out procedures and reservations (Front Desk).
• Support food & beverage operations and learn menus, service standards.
• Learn housekeeping standards and inspect guest rooms and public areas.
• Gain exposure to sales activities and client communication.
• Assist engineering/maintenance with general tasks and report issues.
