Job summary

Double Star Hospitality Morgantown is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Worker to help keep the property in excellent condition. You will perform routine inspections, handle repairs, and respond to guest requests related to facilities and equipment while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role includes maintaining safety protocols, keeping maintenance logs, and assisting with new equipment installations. The position is on-site and approximately 30 hours per week.

Hotel Maintenance Staff Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal Hotel Maintenance Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our hotel by making sure that all facilities, utilities, equipment and guest rooms are in good working condition.

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repair and also be responsible for handling guest requests and issues related to facilities and equipment.

The duties and responsibilities of Hotel Maintenance Staff include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment and guest rooms
• Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Carry out necessary repairs to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities
• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to hotel facilities and equipment
• Work closely with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work, including Housekeeping, Front Desk and Management
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security protocols
• Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and facilities
• Perform general cleaning tasks as required
• Approximately 30 hours per week
