RDA Management - DoubleTree by Hilton Akron/Fairlawn and Holiday Inn Express Akron West is hiring a part-time Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for guests. You will perform routine repairs, respond to requests, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks, and keep maintenance records.

The role requires reliability, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work weekends or on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or facilities.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• Maintain hotel grounds and public areas to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and report major repair needs.
