Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written, in-person, phone and email communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and standard workplace software.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA, state and federal requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, front desk, and management.
• Diagnose and complete routine repairs, including lighting, plumbing, furniture, and basic electrical or HVAC tasks.
• Monitor pool and spa chemical balance and water quality.
• Inspect equipment and work areas daily and report hazards or replacements.
• Maintain the hotel's preventative maintenance program and records.
• Assist with training new hires and cross-training staff on maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
• Support safety compliance and assist the General Manager with safety trainings.
• Assist housekeeping and other departments with room checks and repairs as needed.
