Job summary

Friendwell Group is seeking a Hotel Engineer/Maintenance Technician to keep hotel facilities and equipment in excellent condition. The role responds to maintenance requests and supports guest experience by ensuring safety and comfort.

Flexible shifts and a week-round schedule are required. The position involves hands-on maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and masonry, with routine inspections and preventive programs.

Qualifications

• Past experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Diagnose and repair non-functioning machinery and equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and report items requiring further attention.
• Maintain and update the Guest Room Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures and shut-offs locations.
• Respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies.
