SpringHill Suites Topeka Southwest is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Topeka, KS. The role includes evening shifts and weekends, with hourly pay between $18.00 and $20.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities cover upkeep, repairs, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction in a hotel setting. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and at least six months of related experience, with basic hand and power tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of maintenance-related experience.
• Basic hands-on and power tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for general repairs within time frames.
• Perform checks to prevent malfunctions and maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and problems.
• Maintain tools and spaces in safe, organized condition.
• Repair or change room locks and fix electronic equipment.
• Assist in safety equipment and emergency procedures.
• Set up and break down event spaces as needed.
• Work varying schedules to meet hotel needs.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs.
• Help other departments to maintain performance
