Job summary

Fairfield Inn Sudbury, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role covers repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in the hotel on the 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or related experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Familiar with kitchen & refrigeration equipment.
• Able to work 7-day rotational schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned locations, including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, basic carpentry, and building systems
• Inspect equipment and identify repair needs
• Troubleshoot issues and plan repair work
• Maintain building systems and preventive maintenance programs
• Respond to work orders promptly
• Assist with house person/shuttle duties as needed
• Maintain exterior building areas (snow removal, lawn care, painting)
