Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to handle maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. The role may involve custodial tasks while ensuring guest satisfaction and assets protection.

Essential duties include identifying issues, creating work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining mechanical logs. Strong English communication, teamwork, and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or training in a similar role preferred.
• Must be organized and have good time management skills.
• Must have the ability to understand, read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and Team Members of other departments.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to take direction, understand and carry out instructions given.
• Must have the ability to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance and repair issues and initiate work orders.
• Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies.
• Complete work orders and all necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain mechanical logs.
• Resolve guest problems and handle requests promptly according to hotel standards.
• Complete duty rounds checklists and correct noted problems.
• Use EMS system and Life Safety Systems; training provided.
• Cross-train in all department aspects.
• Follow policies and procedures set by the Center.
