Job summary

Mii amo Resort in Sedona, AZ seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to perform general repairs and preventative upkeep across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry tasks. You will respond to guest room requests, coordinate with staff, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include pipe work, lighting, painting, and equipment troubleshooting. A high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification are required; hotel/motel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent work experience. Above average skills in three or more of the following: air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, carpentry & finish, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building management.
• Prefer hotel/motel or similar experience; strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask. CPR and First Aid certification required. Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room repair requests and perform general maintenance and repairs across trade areas.
• Communicate with guests and staff to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Request and maintain inventory of parts and supplies; safely use hand and power tools.
• Repair or replace pipes (PVC/Copper) and solder where needed; troubleshoot equipment (plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Install and replace lighting and fixtures; perform painting, drywall, and trim work; maintain shop and storage areas.
