Job summary

HRi Properties is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a downtown Indianapolis hotel. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and building systems to ensure reliability and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues, completing work orders, and supporting property upkeep while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trades preferred.
• Experience in hotel, resort, or commercial building maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Complete work orders and PM tasks in the system.
• Support painting, carpentry, caulking, and cosmetic repairs.
